Observing the ever-changing landscape of restaurants and food is akin to witnessing passing trends swiftly come and go, while the enduring wisdom of long-standing truths remains steadfast, the year 2023 gave me an opportunity to explore restaurants and food trends not only within India but also globally.

I cannot contain my excitement as I embark on a delightful food travel adventure once again, with you all, as we kick off the remarkable year of 2024 together!

My first share of experience has to be my unforgettable experience from my Singapore trip. One of the most delightful surprises was stumbling upon this beautiful café – PS. Café, having its presence in Singapore since 1999.

As we were busy exploring Dempsey Hill, which has a lot of eateries for one to explore and be spoilt for choice we decided to explore Chopsuey Dempsey Hill, which happens to be the first brand created by PS. Café in 2013.

This Café is well-known for its hearty and inventive twists on savory café classics. They have gained fame for their delectable truffle shoestring fries that are sure to satisfy any cravings and a must have! Moreover, their menu boasts an array of irresistible cakes, puddings, and tarts that will indulge your sweet tooth to the fullest.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of devouring their highly acclaimed truffle shoestring fries, which turned out to be the pinnacle of fry perfection, surpassing any other fry experience I’ve had before. Following this delightful appetizer, I indulged in their PS. Crab and Prawns Laksa, which delighted my palate with its velvety-smooth texture and generous portions of protein and noodles. We also couldn’t resist ordering the Thai Basil Chicken Bowl, which impressed us with its tantalizing flavors and perfectly cooked chicken. As expected, PS. Café lived up to its reputation of serving generous portions of delicious food, leaving us so satisfactorily stuffed by the end of the meal. The lush atmosphere of the café added to the overall experience, making it a definite must-visit for everyone!

This extraordinary dining experience was enhanced by the serene and enchanting colonial garden setting. The café offers a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor dining spaces, allowing guests to bask in the ambiance of their choice. Whether you prefer the cozy indoor atmosphere or the refreshing outdoor seating, you can unwind and savor your meal surrounded by the beauty of nature. The combination of delectable food and a tranquil environment truly creates an unparalleled dining experience.
